Nose to the Grindstone

I’m currently keeping my nose to the grindstone, working full-time (albeit only for about a month or so) and writing.

Having to go back to early morning writing is a success and, with hope, I’ll make my deadlines next week.

  1. I look at that pic, think of your nose, and go, “ouch!”

    Good luck with the deadlines!

I’m so hoping that photo was posed as a joke…;)

I don’t know how you do it, getting up early to write. I’m up at 5:30 as it is, and I’m in no state to write at that hour, so getting up earlier wouldn’t avail me much.

    Victoria: Thanks, Victoria!

Digital Dame: Yes, let us hope. šŸ™‚

Well, for six days next month I have to report to work at 5:30 a.m. so I doubt I’ll be doing any early-morning writing those days. But I’ll at least be able to leave work early on those days.

I used to be a late night writer but now I find that early mornings are my best time.

  4. Yeah! I’m so glad you’re doing well. I do my best writing in the early morning or late night. The great thing about the morning is my mind is totally fresh. Plus, for the rest of the day, I know I got something accomplished.

The knowing you’ve accomplished something that morning is another good reason to write in the morning if you can. It’s like exercising in the morning. You know you’ve done it so you don’t have to worry about it. šŸ™‚
